Welcome to Tune ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our music media application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Tune, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to form a binding contract to use Tune. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
2. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized use of your account
You may disable your account by contacting support at tune-development@velbit.app.
3. Data Collection and Third-Party Integrations
We collect and process:
- Email addresses and usernames
- Information related to linked Spotify or Apple Music accounts (with your permission)
This data is used for personalization, recommendations, and analytics. Your use of Spotify or Apple Music within Tune is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
4. Privacy Policy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.
5. User Content
You may post comments and, in the future, create posts ("User Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and display such content in connection with the Service.
You agree not to post any content that:
- Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
- Contains hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, or discrimination
- Violates any intellectual property or privacy rights
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users who violate these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, and trademarks in Tune are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without permission.
If you believe your copyright has been infringed, contact us at tune-development@velbit.app with your claim and supporting documentation.
7. Community Guidelines
You may not:
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Post misleading, harmful, or illegal content
We reserve the right to ban users who violate these guidelines.
8. Paid Services
Tune Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple ID. The price is shown before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
9. No Warranty
Tune is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding reliability, availability, or performance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tune and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, and not in a court of law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
